Return Policy

This Return Policy governs the return of any products (“Products”) rented by you through the Rent An Attire website (“Site”) for personal use. By renting Products via the Site, you agree to comply with this Return Policy and the Terms and Conditions.

1. Return Obligation

• All rented Products must be returned within 3 (three) days, or as per the number of booking days confirmed at the time of rental, starting from the delivery date (“Return Date”).

• Products must be returned in satisfactory condition, including proper packaging, and in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

• Failure to return Products within the specified period may result in Late Fees, additional charges, or forfeiture of the security deposit.

2. Late Fee

• If a Product is returned after the Return Date:

  • Outfits: 15% of the rental amount per outfit per day

  • Accessories: ₹300 per accessory per day

• Late Fees are in addition to the rental fee and may be deducted from your security deposit or charged to your registered payment method.

3. Condition and Liability

• You must return Products in substantially the same condition as delivered, except for normal wear and tear.

• Material damage, substantial damage, or major loss during your rental may result in deductions from the security deposit or additional charges, at Rent An Attire’s sole discretion.

• Rent An Attire’s assessment of damage, loss, or applicable charges is final and binding.

4. Packaging and Return Procedure

• Return Products in the original packaging or any return packaging provided.

• Ensure all items are properly sealed and secured.

• Returns must be handed over to the person designated by Rent An Attire. Rent An Attire is not responsible for Products returned to unauthorized persons or in improper packaging.

5. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

• Any dispute regarding the return of any Product or any of the terms of this Return Policy will be governed by this Return Policy and by the laws of India.

• Courts of Pune shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all such disputes.

Refundable Security Deposit Policy

1. Payment of Security Deposit

• A refundable security deposit is required at the time of product pickup, as per your rental agreement or invoice.

2. Refund Conditions

• Cash deposits: Refunded upon return after QC is completed and Products are approved.

• Online deposits: Refunded via bank transfer within 30 working days after receipt of the Products and completion of QC.

• Refunds may be delayed or withheld for verification, recovery of Late Fees, or assessment of damages.

3. Damage, Loss, or Stains

• Minor damage or stains may result in partial deductions from the security deposit.

• In case of permanent damage, loss, or theft, the security deposit may be forfeited, and you may be liable to pay up to 30% of the Product’s MRP (minus the security deposit).

• Rent An Attire’s assessment of damage, loss, or deductions is final and binding.

4. Retention of Security Deposit

• Rent An Attire reserves the right to withhold or adjust the security deposit against unpaid Late Fees, damages, or other charges.

• Remaining deposits will be refunded subject to QC, verification, and clearance at Rent An Attire’s sole discretion.

• Security deposits are refunded only after Products pass QC and approval.

• All assessments of damage, loss, or fees are at Rent An Attire’s sole discretion.

• This policy is designed to protect both Rent An Attire and our customers while promoting sustainable practices.

Legal Safeguard Note

• Rent An Attire reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Return & Security Deposit Policy at its sole discretion without prior notice.

• Continued use of the Site or rental of Products constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

• Rent An Attire is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from adherence to this Policy.
